About Us

Stagecraft, Inc was established in 1975 by Randall A. Kent. Randy was working at Kings Island Amusement Park as a performer, choreographer and character costume supervisor and studying tech theater at the University of Cincinnati. At Kings Island Randy designed and built the Hanna Barbara characters for the park. Randy
incorporated in order to take on outside work. The first character for Stagecraft, Inc. was the Stinger Bee mascot for the new Cincinnati Stingers Hockey Team. Soon after came the University of Cincinnati Bearcat mascot, University of Louisville Cardinal, University of Mississippi Colonel Rebel and the Memphis State Tiger, just to name a few. Through the years we have done work for such companies as Disney, Dreamworks, Universal Studios, Kodak and worked in many countries such as the Singapore Independence Day Celebration, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, and Busch Gardens.
